The RAM 1500 is a solid pickup truck that has a lot to offer. It has a comfortable and spacious cabin, a smooth ride, and plenty of features that make it a pleasure to drive. The base V6 engine is decent, but the optional V8 engines are more powerful and capable of towing heavy loads. The available air suspension system provides an even smoother ride and improved handling. One downside to the RAM 1500 is that it can be more expensive than some of its competitors, but if you're in the market for a pickup truck with a priority on comfort, power, and advanced features, the RAM 1500 is definitely worth considering. These trucks are super comfortable due to the way they are set up, with an independent coil suspension compared to other trucks in its class with leaf suspension. This makes driving a RAM 1500 feel more like driving a larger-sized SUV! Is it fun to drive and have a decent engine? They are very fun to drive, with a lot of comfort features that make long drives easy. Both of the engine setups have plenty of pep in their step and deliver great power responses. It's a satisfying feeling to put the peddle down! Is it good value for money? When you consider the RAM’s great connectivity, safety and comfort features on the inside, combined with competitive towing capacities on the outside, as well as fuel economy for the hybridized engines, there's no question you get great value for money! Is it reliable? RAM trucks are very reliable as long as you keep up your maintenance. Although some older models can be prone to “rod knock” after 100k km, but there are economic fixes for that. They do have great warranty offers to put your mind at ease. Is it safe? Really safe. Offering available blind spot detection as well as adaptive cruise control with collision mitigation and avoidance systems to save money on automotive insurance. How does it perform against its next peer/category leader? The RAM 1500 performs at the top of its class among industry leaders like the Ford F-150.
